Camp Meeting: Adventist Community Services Cabin
Another Wisconsin Camp Meeting has passed, that great outdoor family vacation & Bible camp rolled into one. Are you starting to think about next year's Camp Meeting yet?

Here are a few Community Services highlights and photos from Campmeeting 2017:
Thanks again to the great support of our campers, several boxes of school supplies numbering well over 1,000 items were collected for the Oxford Elementary School.  "How to make a succulent garden" was demonstrated by Alice as an example of a quick, fun gift for sharing, with close to 20 participants making their own dish gardens with colored sand, miniature plants and other small items.  In addition, Alice led the Disaster Response training course, with attendees to each session earning certification. Thrift store and clearance aisle finds end up in activity mats for Alzheimer's patients, victims of stroke or traumatic brain injury, and other conditions. Several adults and teens completed mats to give to folks who could use them in a class taught by Georgia.  Karen's class featuring a fun, but easy, quilt block resulted in enough squares for two lap robes.
